Sandridge Diner: Authentic Family-Run Diner with Homemade Comfort Food in Hubert, NC

This little spot is such a good find. I've ordered from here once previously, and was not disappointed. Today I had the same experience, wonderful customer service and awesome food! We tried the chicken fajita quesadilla, fish and chips, and steak & cheese hoagie on our first visit. It all was amazing! Today we had the lumpia, sampler appetizer, 1/2 order of cheese fries, and the little had a tender kids meal. They call you when you're food is ready, the people who work there are super nice. Some items are not available all day, so no loaded baked potato for lunch. The cheese fries were a great substitute, so no complaints here. I am happy that I found such a delicious diner.

So this place is very underrated. We love Sandridge. It is not fancy or upbeat or anything but is a small very nice family ran style diner that deserves really good reviews. It is off the beaten path but would 100% drive out here to go. Very good homemade food at great prices with really good service. Check their daily deals and if your into seafood you really cant beat their Friday night "Pick 2" or "Pick 3" seafood dinner, its amazing. Will continue to eat here a few times a month!

I had the grilled chicken wrap with lettuce, tomato, Bacon and ranch dressing. It was amazing. The onion rings were the best I've ever had. The customer service was outstanding. My husband had the gooulash with garlic bread. It was great. Loved the ambiance and the cleanliness of this place

EDIT - 9/23/25 - Ok, I have to edit my review, after a few more visits and really trying out the menu I have found that the cheeseburgers are one of the best around in the area, imo. Lettuce, Onion, Tomato and bacon comes well done if you ask for it, my fries are always perfect and they make the best battered mushrooms around! It would be great if they could work on sauces, but they are quite a good staple here in the area! Normally we visit 4-9 people deep with the family as an easy option and the only thing on this road. Last time we went, we went in as a 4 top. We ordered the Reuben, it was half the sandwich is normally is, and a few other plates that were decent but nothing to write home about for the price it was. As well... who sweeps the floors around you while you're eating. I was repulsed, $70 for dust and dirt trickling down over our food. I could physically see, if it wasn't for the kids being with us, I would have mentioned it to someone. I know 2024 food prices have gotten crazy but the price for that limp sandwich was painful to follow through with paying for. Not sure if we can muenster going back as most recently they couldn't even combine a breakfast meal on the same ticket as a lunch meal because and I quote "we don't know how to charge for that", what?! The public education system has failed some folks in this area and many of them work here.

Friday the seafood platter and Saturday night's prime rib is the best! I wish they offered oysters every night on the menu!!!

Had the best Ruben! Great service at a wonderful local restaurant!
